New Horizon Review

New Horizon is True Blue Sailing's smaller boat: 21 metres, 32 guests aged 18 to 35 and four crew. It follows the same two-night route as Atlantic Clipper, with Hill Inlet Lookout, Whitehaven Beach, reef snorkelling and the white-themed sunset evening. A waterslide, paddleboards and a Master Reef Guide are part of the trip.

The full review

New Horizon is for travellers who want the social side of a Whitsunday trip without 54 people on board. Its owner, True Blue Sailing, puts it plainly: choose New Horizon for a smaller, more relaxed trip at a lower price.

The route is identical to Atlantic Clipper's, and so is the crew's approach, from the waterslide stops to the white outfit at sunset. The difference is scale. There are 32 guests instead of 54, two hot showers instead of five, and everyone sleeps in shared, air-conditioned sections rather than cabins.

That makes it our Best Value Social Sail: the full True Blue trip for less money. It is strictly 18+, and if you want a private cabin, Atlantic Clipper is the one to book.
