Prosail runs three ex-race maxi yachts, Hammer, Broomstick and Condor, on the same two-night trip for $699. Between them there is a departure every day of the week. The sample itinerary includes the walk to Hill Inlet Lookout, three hours on Whitehaven Beach and up to three snorkel stops.

Prosail may substitute a vessel at any time. We confirm your boat when you book.
Sample itinerary for Hammer. Prosail adjusts every trip to weather and tides.
Prosail is for people who want the boat to feel like a yacht rather than a floating hostel. All three boats were built to race, the decks are open, and the crew are happy for you to help with the sails.
Where Prosail saves money is below deck. Everyone sleeps in shared, dorm-style sections with single and double beds, so there is no private cabin to book. Special diets cost nothing extra, which is not the case on every boat in Airlie.
We rate it just below Atlantic Clipper: fewer facilities, but more sailing, a smaller group and a lower fare. On a tight East Coast schedule, having a boat leave every day is a big help.
We live in Cairns and we book these tours every week. These are the guides we send guests before they choose.
