The full review

Thundercat suits people who want to pay once and not think about extras. The pickup, the food and an esky with ice for your own drinks are all part of the fare.

The day is long, and that is where the value comes from. Whitehaven comes first, then the boat heads north through the islands for two snorkel stops, and you are back in Airlie in the late afternoon.

That combination is why Thundercat is our Best Overall: the most complete day for one fare, from a local operator with several Whitsunday and Queensland tourism awards. The weak spot is food. Specific diets cannot always be catered for, so bring your own if the menu does not suit you.
