Reef Pontoon at Hardy Reef · Port of Airlie
Reefworld is a pontoon moored at Hardy Reef, 39 nautical miles out on the Great Barrier Reef, where you spend about four hours. Swimmers snorkel straight from the pontoon, while non-swimmers use the underwater observatory and the semi-submarine. Lunch and both teas are included.
Cruise Whitsundays prices by demand and season, so these are from prices. Seniors pay from $269: add it in the notes. We confirm the fare for your date when you book.
The itinerary depends on weather and sea conditions.
This is the reef day for groups where not everyone swims. Grandparents and young children can see the coral from the observatory or the semi-submarine while the rest of the group snorkels.
The day is long and much of it is spent cruising to and from the reef. If you want more time in the water, the extras are clearly priced, from a guided snorkel safari to an introductory dive.
Reefworld does not visit Whitehaven Beach, and Cruise Whitsundays prices by demand, so the fare can be above $295 on busy dates. For the outer reef and the beach in one day, Viper is the alternative.
We live in Cairns and we book these tours every week. These are the guides we send guests before they choose.
Glass-bottom boats, semi-subs and pontoon lagoons.
