Adults-Only Heritage Yacht · Airlie Beach
Lady Enid is a restored 1960s timber yacht that takes a maximum of 24 adults to Hill Inlet, Whitehaven Beach and Betty's Beach, with one snorkel stop. Hotel pickup, a lunch with prawns and salmon, and a glass of Australian sparkling on the sail home are included.
Pickup from local hotels is included. A $20 per person surcharge applies on public holidays.

Lady Enid is the day we suggest for couples who want Whitehaven to feel like a treat rather than an adventure. Everyone on board is over 18, the group is small, and the boat sails rather than races.
The food is better than on most day trips, starting with scones and clotted cream and ending with an antipasto platter on the way home. A walk to Betty's Beach, a secluded spot you can reach on foot from Whitehaven, is part of the day.
A heritage yacht has steps, ropes and a ladder into the tender, so you need to be steady on your feet. If you are travelling with children, Thundercat and Ocean Rafting are the better choice.
We live in Cairns and we book these tours every week. These are the guides we send guests before they choose.
