The Tanks Markets run on the last Sunday of the month from April to November, except August, from 8am to 1pm at the Tanks Arts Centre in Edge Hill.
Stalls cover local art and craft, fresh produce, vintage clothing, collectables and natural health products. Each month has a free yoga class, emerging local musicians and the Far Northern Brass Band.
Entry is free and it's very family friendly. The Botanic Gardens are right next door.
Tanks Markets dates
Last Sunday of each month, April to November, excluding August, 8am to 1pm. The next market in 2026 is Sunday 29 November. Tanks also runs Twilight Markets, with one on Friday 6 November 2026.
In September, the big Carnival on Collins takes over the same precinct on Father's Day Sunday, 9am to 2pm, with over 200 stalls.
