2-Day Combo · Great Barrier Reef + Kuranda Scenic Rail & Skyrail · Cairns
If you only have a couple of days in Cairns and want the two things the region is famous for, this is the combo I point people to. Day one is the outer Great Barrier Reef; day two is Kuranda, the rainforest village in the hills, reached by the two most scenic transport rides in Queensland.
The reef day is aboard the 35-metre Evolution superyacht: two outer reef sites, five hours in the water, a BBQ lunch and a glass of wine on the way home. The Kuranda day pairs the Kuranda Scenic Railway, a century-old line that winds past Barron Falls through 15 hand-cut tunnels, with the Skyrail cableway gliding just above the rainforest canopy. Between them you get a few hours in Kuranda's heritage markets and rainforest walks.
At $380 it's a clear saving on booking the two separately, and the contrast, a day on the water and a day in the rainforest, makes for a far more rounded trip than two reef days back to back. The best-value introduction to Cairns for first-timers with limited time.

Not included: reef-day dives (dive package available), Kuranda village attractions (Rainforestation, Koala Gardens etc.), full wetsuit hire, Gold Class rail upgrade. Days do not need to be consecutive.
Reserve your 2-day combo. Pick both dates, confirmation within 1 hour, payment link by email.
