Daintree Rainforest Ziplining Review 2026: Flying Through the Canopy at Cape Trib

I've sent plenty of families and couples up to Cape Tribulation, and this is the one activity that gets everyone, nervous first-timers included, grinning by the end. You're clipped in and gliding across nine ziplines strung through the Daintree canopy, in the one place on earth where two World Heritage areas, the rainforest and the reef, meet at the coast.

What I like is that it's guided the whole way, so you're never left to figure out the gear yourself. The lines run from a short 15 metres to a long 130-metre glide, up to about 15 metres above the forest floor, so there's a gentle build-up rather than a big drop straight away. It takes around two hours, and it suits kids from four right up to grandparents.

At $145 adult and $104 child it's genuinely good value for a Cape Trib highlight, and my pick for the best rainforest zipline from Cairns.

GuestTours Verdict
The most memorable way to experience the Daintree canopy: nine guided ziplines, 15 to 130 metres long and up to 15 metres high, in the rare spot where rainforest meets reef. Fun for ages 4 and up. Our pick for "Best Rainforest Zipline."
