You approve it first. Nothing goes live until you are happy, and I only add my own recommendations if you say yes to that.
Any tour you recommend, I arrange. Not on GuestTours yet? I set up the tour page and the agreement with the operator.
Always up to date. Tour prices change every year. I let you know when new prices come in and update your page.
Your privacy. Your exact address is never shown; the map shows your suburb only.

What I need from you

Most hosts have their tips in a PDF, a house manual or an Airbnb guidebook. That is perfect: I build the page around it. The form below covers the basics; the rest can follow by email or WhatsApp.

Your recommendations. Where to eat, beaches, walks, swimming spots, markets, things for kids. A line or two in your own words per place is enough.
The tours you would book yourself, and why. Those become the bookable cards on your page.
A short welcome. Three to five sentences about you and your place, the way you would greet a guest at the door.
Photos. Your place for the top of the page, one of you, and any photos you took of the spots you recommend.
Practical bits. How far things are by car, whether guests need a car, the nearest bus stop, parking, and what guests always ask you.

Payment and tracking

We split the tour commission 50/50. As a booking agent I earn a commission from the operator on every tour your guests book, and half of it is yours. I've pushed every operator for the best rate I could get, so it's worth it for both of us. Rates still differ per tour, and your statement shows the exact amount for every booking.

When you are paid

Monthly by bank transfer, by the 15th, for tours that took place the month before. Payment follows the tour date, because a booking can be cancelled until then.

If plans change

Cancelled: no tour, no commission.
Moved: your share moves with the new date.
Refunded later: deducted from your next payment.
Every payment comes with a statement per booking.

Which bookings count

Your link or QR code counts for 60 days, also if the guest comes back via Google.
If a guest later opens another host's link, the newest link counts.
Booked by message or phone? Mentioning your name or place is enough.

Discounts and groups

No discounts by default. If one would help your place, let's talk.
Groups, packages or bundles: send them my number and I'll arrange it.

These terms apply between you (the host) and GuestTours, run by Amber Janbroers, sole trader, ABN 51 726 603 464, Cairns QLD.

In short: you receive half of my commission, paid monthly once the tour has happened. No cost, no minimum term, and either of us can stop at any time.

Commission. You receive 50% of the commission GuestTours earns on each qualifying booking. That is half of the commission, not half of the tour price.
Qualifying booking. A booking counts when it is tracked to you through your link or QR code within 60 days, or when the guest names you or your property, and when it is confirmed and paid by the guest.
When commission is earned. Your share is earned once the guest has completed the tour. Bookings cancelled or refunded before the tour earn no commission.
Payment. Monthly by bank transfer, by the 15th, for tours completed in the previous month, together with a statement.
Refunds after payment. If a paid booking is later refunded, that share is deducted from your next payment.
Questions about a statement. Let me know within 30 days of receiving it and I will check it with you.
Discounts and packages. Not offered by default. Any discount, group rate or package price is agreed case by case in writing (WhatsApp or email counts), including how it affects your share.
Ending the partnership. Either of us can end it at any time with a message or email. When it ends, I take your page offline within 7 days, and commission on bookings made before that date is still paid once those tours are completed.
Your content. You give GuestTours permission to use the tips, texts and photos you send for your guide page and welcome card. You confirm that you took the photos yourself or have permission to use them.
Bookings go through GuestTours. You do not take payments for tours, promise prices or discounts beyond what we agreed, or make bookings with operators on behalf of your guests. Questions about tours come to me.
Your listing rules. You are responsible for following the rules of Airbnb or any other platform you list on.
Tax. Your share is paid without GST, as GuestTours is not registered for GST. You are responsible for any tax on your earnings.
Responsibility. GuestTours is responsible for the bookings it makes for your guests. You are not responsible for the tours, and GuestTours is not responsible for your property or your stay.
Privacy. Guest details are used only to handle their bookings. Your bank details are used only to pay your share and are never shown on any page. Your statement shows the tour, date, amount and status of each booking.
Changes to these terms. I will email you at least 30 days before any change takes effect.
Law. These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
