Terms & Conditions
**Travel and Dive Insurance** Reef Experience, operated by GBR Tours Pty Ltd, strongly recommends that all guests hold comprehensive travel and dive insurance. This ensures coverage for unforeseen circumstances, including cancellations, medical issues, or emergencies during your trip. **Bus Transfers** City transfers are included. If you haven't booked yet, please advise us where you will be staying atleast 48 hours prior travel so we can get back to you with the pickup time. Return transfers to the marina from locations outside the Cairns CBD and Northern Beaches are available for $40.00 per person ($45.00 per person from 1st April 2026 onwards). This fee is payable onboard. **Flying After Scuba Diving** Guests must allow a minimum surface interval of 18–24 hours between their last scuba dive and flying or travelling to altitude. **Certified Diver Verification** Certified divers must present valid proof of their scuba certification before participating in any certified dives. Guides are optional and payable onboard at $15 per dive. **Scuba Diving – Age and Medical Restrictions** - The minimum age for certified divers is 10 years. They need to book at Adult rates - The minimum age for introductory (resort) dives is 12 years. All passengers must complete a medical declaration form before participating in any in-water activity. This is a mandatory safety requirement for all boat tours. If you have any medical conditions or take prescribed medication, please get a letter from your GP in English, within 90 days from travel, stating that you are Fit to Scuba Dive. No refunds for failed medicals. **Peak Season Surcharges** These surcharges are non-commissionable and payable onboard on the day of travel: $100 per person – Christmas Day: 25 December 2025 and 25 December 2026 $50 per person – Easter and Boxing Day dates: - 26 December 2025 - 3, 4, 5 & 6 April 2026 - 26 December 2026 - 26, 27, 28 & 29 March 2027
